1966 Fender Jazz Bass with Original Case & Covers

This is an exceptional all-original Fender 1966 Jazz bass with a serial number of 176282.  This spectacular Jazz bass is an under the bed find that sounds and plays as wonderful as it looks!  This bass has that classic Fender tone for miles!  The maple neck has a round D profile for fast and fancy playing in any position.  You will be blazing through the scales and tunes with this one, it’s perfect for just about any style! It is a 34” scale neck with 20 good frets on a dark rosewood board with pearloid markers.  The nut width is 1 10/16th.  Cosmetically it has only the slightest amount of finish wear on the back of the neck.  There is a small hole in the back of the headstock that was likely where a strap peg had been installed. The original pick-ups are loud and punchy and it couldn’t look or sound better!  It even includes the original chrome pick-up and bridge covers!  The bright amber/red/black finish only has minor checking and a handful of dings and dents here and there with no buckle rash on the back.  Overall this is an excellent example of a collectible Fender Jazz bass that has it all.  It will definitely show everyone that you know how to pick the cream of the crop!  Comes with the original hardshell case.
