Giffin also ran the Gibson Custom Shop in California for many years before striking out on his own. Now producing his own models under the name Giffin Guitars, he designed the “Vitka” that was built by a group of craftsmen called the Premier Builders Guild.

Body:  Solid body single cutaway electric guitar.

Neck:  Maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, 22 frets, 24.625” scale length, 12” radius, abalone vertical line inlays, nickel Sperzel tuning keys and a Graphtech Tusq nut. The frets are in great shape and have a ton of life left in them. The nut width on this guitar is 1 11/16”.

Pickups/Hardware: 2 P-90 pickups, two volume knobs and a master tone knob with a 3-way switch, TonePros AVT wraparound bridge.

Cosmetics: This instrument has a wonderful light blue finish with great checking in the finish. With the relic’ing in the finish it is hard to tell if this instrument has real dings or if they were created in the factory – either way, there are some dings on the guitar and one in particular on the top bout of the guitar, however, the instrument is structurally sound & ready to be played and loved.

Playability:  This guitar plays great – the action is low and there is no buzzing or dead spots. We set this guitar up with 10’s and it sounds wonderful.

Weight:     7 lbs,   11 ounces.

Case:  This guitar will be shipped with a a heavy duty mono gig bag.
