Gretsch G4530 Wild West Parlor Acoustic

Summary:  With the Americana Collection, Gretsch has created a unique line of acoustic guitars that are as interesting to look at as they are to play. The Americana Wild West Sweethearts acoustic guitar features a 24″ scale length with a steel reinforced neck. Constructed from real wood – yes, it’s real wood – and it makes real guitar sounds! The Americana Wild West Sweethearts is a real treat to play, and sounds good, too. These beauties are a limited production run, and even the box is uniquely designed. The Americana Wild West Sweethearts is a very cool guitar!

Body:  Mahogany body with a cool “Wild West” graphic on the top. All the ads I have seen for this guitar claim that Gretsch used “Real-wood construction” so it is possible that this guitar has some solid wood components but it appears to be laminated woods.

Neck:  Mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard – the fingerboard has black binding and large circle dot inlays. The nut width is 1 11/16” and the scale length is 24”.

Pickups/Hardware: No electronics – 3 in line tuning keys.

Cosmetics: Overall this guitar is in pretty good condition – there are a few dings that I found on this guitar but the graphics hide any flaws and they are hard to see in photos. There is some scratching or buckle rash on the back of the guitar but there are no cracks & the guitar is secure & structurally strong.

Playability:  This little guitar plays pretty good – the action is low & the guitar doesn’t buzz or fret out when you play up and down the fingerboard.

Weight:   3 lbs,  3 oz.

Case:  No case
