John Page Classic Ashburn with original gig bag

Summary: A double-cutaway, solid body guitar custom designed by John Page to embody his Uniquely Familiar™ design aesthetic. Featuring an extremely comfortable medium “C” shaped grip, threaded bolt neck assembly for greater tone transfer, contoured heel for easier upper fret access, staggered tuners that eliminate the need for string trees, bass justified fret dots for greater visibility, and Bloodline® by John Page JP-1 single coil S-style pickups with contrarian bridge pickup slant.

Body: Solid alder body with a double cutaway with a black metallic finish.

Neck: Maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, dot inlays, 22 frets, 12” fretboard radius, 25.5” scale length, 1.68” nut width.  The frets are in great shape with a ton of life left in them.

Pickups/Hardware: Chrome hardware, Bloodline JP-1 pickups, master volume & master tone, 5-way switch, Gotoh staggered vintage tuning keys, Gotoh 510 Tremelo system.

Cosmetics:  This guitar is in great shape – I did notice some light pick scratches on the pickguard but overall this instrument looks really great!  When you hold this baby in your hands you notice the black finish actually has some really wonderful sparkle in the finish but from far away & in our photos it looks totally black.

Playability: This guitar feels & sounds a lot like a Fender Stratocaster with some extra bite – the action is low & the guitar plays with no buzzing and no dead spots.  We set this guitar up with 10’s and it is ready to be played and loved!
