Vintage Baldwin Double Six 12 string guitar Green Sunburst

Summary: First introduced in 1963, the Double Six Guitar is one of the coolest and easiest playing 12 strings we’ve seen.

Body: Solid-body electric guitar with a basswood body and a bolt-on hard-rock maple neck.

Neck:  Hard rock maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. This guitar has a 25.5” scale length, 21 frets, original tuning machines, and a nut width of 1 13/16”. The frets on this guitar are in good shape & have lots of life left in them. The back of the neck on this instrument has some beautiful flames running across it.

Pickups/Hardware: Three original Burns pickups with a three-way pickup switch, one master volume and two tone controls. This guitar has chrome hardware.

Cosmetics:  This vintage Baldwin is in really good shape with no major dings or damage. The green sunburst finish looks awesome from far away & it looks even better when you hold it in your hands. This guitar does have some wear & tear consistent with a guitar that has been well loved and played over the years. There are a few places on the back of the neck where the finish has begun to check.

Playability: This 12-string plays great – the action is low and the neck is straight. This guitar plays with very little buzzing and no dead spots. The frets on this vintage guitar are in really great shape and have a ton of life left.
