Summary: This 2019 Taylor 717e Builder's Edition Grand Pacific blends a traditional look and sound with a modern, relaxed feel, the Builder's Edition 717e serves up a seasoned tone that will remind players of vintage acoustic recordings. Indian rosewood and torrefied Sitka spruce deliver clear bass-range power and pristine trebles, resulting in a richly textured sound with lush overtones and a dash of extra sweetness from the specially roasted top. The Grand Pacific body features V-Class bracing for greater volume and sustain, along with chamfered edges to provide a more comfortable feel. A compound carve neck profile accommodates your hand as you move down the neck, and the Silent Satin finish reduces incidental noise.

Body: Sitka Spruce top, Indian Rosewood back and sides in Silent Satin finish.

Neck:  Tropical Mahogany with a West African Crelicam Ebony fingerboard,  25.5” scale length,  1.75” nut width, 20 frets, Arrowheads, Mother of Pearl inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Expression System 2, Taylor Nickel tuning keys, West African Crelicam Ebony bridge, Black Tusq Nut, Micarta Saddle knobs.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light wear on the body on the lower bout, beneath the strings. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The headstock has a few dings on the top edge. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
