Summary: A blast from the past, Fender's Modern Player Starcaster semi-hollowbody guitar revives one of Fender's more obscure designs of the past. Back in the mid '70s, Fender introduced a guitar with a laminated maple body, solid alder center block, and a pair of humbucking pickups. Although many discarded the Starcaster as too un-Fender-like, a few up-and-coming guitarists saw it as the extremely dynamic and expressive instrument that it is. Pick up a Fender Modern Player Starcasters from Sweetwater, and you'll know why.

Cosmetics: This guitar shows very little signs of use. There are a few pencil tip size dents on the back of the body. The frets show signs of wear but still have a ton of life left in them. Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10’s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
