2019 Fender Player Jaguar
Summary: The Fender Player Series Jaguar delivers the classic look and feel of Fender's beloved offset guitars. The alder body has beautiful Shell Pink finish. This Jaguar has been modified quite a bit with a set of Seymour Duncan Hot Jaguar single coil pickups and a simplified control layout. The switch and the pickup selector have been removed and two chrome selector switch plates have been added. The pickguard has also been changed to make these mods possible.
Body: Alder with a gloss Shell Pink finish.
Neck: Maple with a Pau Ferro fingerboard, 24” scale length, 1.650” nut width, 9.5” radius, 22 frets, white dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Two Seymour Duncan Hot Jaguar single coil pickups, 6-saddle Vintage-style Adjustable bridge with Floating Tremolo, Fender Standard Cast/Sealed tuning keys, three-switches for pickup selection, master volume/master tone controls, white pickguard, synthetic bone nut.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition and shows very little sings of use. The body has very light surface scratches that can be seen in a reflection. The pickguard has light pick wear. The control plates have light surface scratches.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
Modifications: Two Seymour Duncan Hot Jaguar pickups have been added. The original switch/pickup selector have been removed. Standard Jaguar control plates have been added. The top control plate has no controls and underneath the plate is gaff tape.
