2020 G&L ASAT Classic
Summary: The G&L ASAT Classic is Leo’s final word on the traditional single-cutaway bolt-on guitar. Framed in a classic boxed-steel bridge, the single-coil Magnetic Field Design bridge pickup created by Leo Fender delivers crisp attack with complex harmonics while individual brass saddles offer modern levels of intonation refinement. The single-coil MFD neck pickup gives you everything from round clean jazz tones to thick, gritty blues.
Body: Sassafras with a translucent orange finish.
Neck: Hard Rock Maple with maple fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1 5/8” nut width, 9.5” radius, 22 frets, black dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Two MFD single coil pickups, individual brass saddles, 18:1 ratio tuning keys, 3-position pickup selector, master volume & tone controls, cream pickguard, medium “C” neck profile.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches and small indentations on the body. The back of the neck is clean and the frets show minimal wear.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
