Summary: This 2023 Patrick James Eggle Macon Double Cut (a style no longer produced), with a carved top  of Redwood lovingly crafted in the workshop in the historic market town of Oswestry in Shropshire, UK, Patrick James Eggle has been crafting world-class bespoke instruments for marquee players including Albert Lee, Tony Iommi, Rory Gallagher and many more. With an eye for spectacular figured tonewood and a flair for tasteful design, Eggle works with his small team to create guitars of surpassing tone, appearance and playability, with first class fit and finish throughout.

Body: Mahogany body, with one piece carved double cut burnished nitro Redwood top matte finish.

Neck: Mahogany with a Ebony fingerboard,  24 5/8” scale length, 1.68” nut width, 22 frets, trap frame inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Mojo PAF humbucker pickups, Gotoh SD90 tuning keys,  ABM 1504 trapeze tailpiece in Aged Nickel bridge, Ebony knobs, switch top, and pickup rings, bone nut.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has very light indentations on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
