Here at Damnation Audio we have a history of overcomplicating things. We’ve spent years stuffing complex signal chains into compact pedals so you can take the sound from your record up on stage without packing the entire studio (and engineer) in the van. So when we decided to make a straightforward powerhouse bass overdrive we had to resist the urge to start with another 10-knob prototype. We focused on the core of a great bass overdrive tone - a punchy gain stage with compression and grit, and a powerful EQ to deliver chunky low end you feel in your gut.

Bass Power Distorter’s Drive control lets you dial in everything from light transparent overdrive to a mountain of crushing distortion and the Depth control boosts bass at the right place in the mix to fatten up your bass lines without mud or slop. A bipolar power supply under the hood gives you dynamic range to handle high power basses so you don't run out of headroom.
