Summary: This 1966/1968 Gibson ES-330TD has the honest wear and vintage tone that command attention. The ES-330 bridged the gap between the new center block arch top guitars and Gibson’s classic arch tops of the previous decades becoming a firm favorite with players such as BB King and Grant Green. This instrument sounds and plays gorgeously. 

Body: Maple in a Sunburst finish.

Neck: Mahogany with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1.56” nut width, 21 frets, pearl block inlays.
 
Pickups/Hardware: Dual Gibson P-90 pickups pickups, Kluson Deluxe tuning keys (replaced), ABR-1 bridge, trapeze tailpiece (possible replacement), gold knobs, bone nut, and a replacement pickguard. 
Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches, crazing, and small indentations on the body. There are a few dings (all pictured)The back of the neck has finish chipping that’s not a deterrent to playing., and the frets show minimal wear. There is wear to some edges (pictured).The back has light buckle rash and crazing. There are two small holes where a different tailpiece was once installed. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.


Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
