This 2011 Fender Custom Shop 1960 Stratocaster Relic, with it’s matching headstock and mint pickguard, simply rips. A trio of hand wound 1960’s relic’d single-coil pickups have a tonal versatility to cover just about any playing style. Spirited tone, classic character, and top-notch in-hand feel, and playability make this 1960 Relic Stratocaster a truly formidable Fender Custom Shop piece.
Body: Alder in Lake Placid Blue finish.
Neck: Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.62” nut width, 21 frets, dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Fender Custom Shop single coil pickups, Gotoh HAP tuning keys, double Fender stamped vintage style saddles, vintage style synchronized tremolo bridge,white plastic knobs, bone nut.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches on the body, along with crazing, small dents, chips, and general wear, as it was factory relic’d.. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
Modifications: Gotoh tuners installed, originals included.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
