Summary: The Fender Telecaster is one of the most important electric guitars of all time and this one has held up wonderfully over the past 50 years. Total simplicity with 2 knobs, 2 pickups and a variety of classic tones. This Fender Telecaster has a wonderfully aged natural finish with lots of natural wear, a nice maple neck and fingerboard. It is a testament to Fender’s ability to make a stellar guitar in the CBS era. It ships in its original hard-shell case with original ash tray bridge cover and switch tip for the pickup selector.

Body: Solid body single cutaway finished in gloss Natural.

Neck: Maple with a Maple fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.6785” nut width, black dot inlays, brass nut.

Pickups/Hardware: Two single coil telecaster pickups, master volume/master tone controls/3-way pickup selector, 3-saddle bridge, “F” logo tuning keys, 3-ply white pickguard, two string trees.

Cosmetics: This guitar has wear that is consistent with an instrument from the early 70’s. It has various nicks, dings, and scratches on the body and neck. The fretboard has 3 spots where it looks like someone tried to fill in the wood. It is smooth and does not alter playability. The bottom edge of the fingerboard has wear from being played.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.

Modifications: One of the pots has been changed, a brass nut has been added, and the switch tip for the pickup selector has been replaced (original switch tip is included in the case).

Weight: 9.120 lbs.

Case: This guitar ships in the original had-shell case, professionally packaged, and fully insured.
