Summary: The Stratocaster family tree has grown tall and wide over the years, but the Fender American Standard Stratocaster carries on the original legacy of the model in its purest form. It is an axe that can do it all, the swiss-army-knife guitar, but still has enough signature tone in its glassy, bell-like attack to have a world unto itself.

Body: Alder with a gloss Aqua Marine Metallic finish.

Neck: Maple with a Maple fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.6875” nut width, 22 frets, black dot inlays, 9.5” radius.

Pickups/Hardware: Three American Standard Single-Coil Stratocaster pickups, master volume/two tone controls with the TBX tone circuit on the 2nd tone knob, bone nut, Fender closed gear tuning keys, chrome hardware, white pickguard, 5-way pickup selector.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition. There are some very small indentations near the input jack that can be seen in a reflection. The pickguard has light wear. There are some light surface scratches hear and there. The back of the neck is clean and smooth, and the frets show minimal wear. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.

Weight: 7.82 lbs.

Case: This guitar ships in a non-original hard-shell case, professionally packaged, and fully insured.
