Summary: Produced from 2000-2008 as part of the American Series, the American Stratocaster was the flagship U.S. made guitar. Features include a modern "C" shaped neck with 22 medium jumbo frets, Fender-branded Schaller tuning machines with staggered post heights for better string tension, a 2-point synchronized tremolo with individual saddles, and three American Series single-coil pickups. On this Stratocaster, the saddles have been replaced with Callaham saddles and a some of the pickup screws have been changed.

Body: Alder with a black polyurethane finish.

Neck: Maple with a Maple fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.6875” nut width, 9.5” radius, 22 medium jumbo frets, “C” shape.

Pickups/Hardware: Three American single coil pickups, Schaller tuning keys, bone nut, Callaham saddles, master volume/2x tone controls/5-way pickup selector, cream 3-ply pickguard.

Cosmetics: The finish on this guitar has started to chip off in areas. There is some wear after the 22nd from probably pick wear (See Photos Please). It has light surface scratches and a few dings here and there on the body. The pickguard has regular wear. The back of the neck has light indentations throughout. The backplate has been removed. The frets have light wear. Overall, this guitar has some cosmetic issue but still plays great and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.

Modifications: The saddle have been upgraded to Callaham saddles. Some of the pickup screws have been changed.
