Summary: One of the most popular instruments in history, the Fender Stratocaster is the most imitated electric guitar ever. 1957 was a landmark year for the instrument; it had evolved from its early incarnations into an archetype, and it was the high point of the maple-neck era. Features include an alder body, American Vintage single-coil pickups, five-way switch, beveled pickup magnets, and a single-ply pickguard.

Body: Alder with a gloss nitro Sunburst finish.

Neck: Maple with a Maple fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.650” nut width, 21 frets, black dot inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Three American Vintage single-coil pickups, vintage style tuning keys, single-ply pickguard, 6-Saddle American Vintage Synchronized Tremolo system, 5-way switch, master volume/2x tone controls, synthetic bone nut, aged white plastics.

Cosmetics: This guitar has light surface scratches and a few dents and dings on the top of the body. The pickguard has regular wear. The headstock has a small amount of wear around the edges. There is a small dent in the finish near 21st fret on the body near the pickguard. (See Photos Please) Overall, this guitar is in great shape. It plays very well and sounds amazing.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.

Modifications: The 5-way switch that was originally included in the case with the guitar has been installed.
