This 1966 Gibson J50 acoustic guitar has just arrived at our shop. It's a particularly nice sounding later 60's J50, with lots of woody thump and the compressed articulation that keeps players coming back to old Gibson's. This guitar works very well as a single note flat-picker, producing an enviable, warm-note edge alongside the coveted low-end thump one would expect from such a guitar. Players interested in a standout slope dreadnaught that won't command the price of a 50's guitar should give this one serious consideration.
