This 2011 Gibson Firebird V was conceived when Gibson hired famed automotive designer Ray Dietrich to create a radical new solid body guitar, & Rock 'n Roll history ensued. With its offset shape, neck-through construction and scorching mini-humbuckers, it became an instant classic.

Body:  Mahogany in Antique Sunburst finish.

Neck:  Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1.68” nut width, 22 frets,  pearl trapezoid inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Gibson Firebird pickups, Steinberger banjo tuning keys, tune-o-matic bridge, stop tailpiece, black top hat knobs, Corian nut.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in good shape. It has light surface scratches on the body, along with screwholes from a former Vibramate tailpiece, and a former strap button . There are several chips/dents along the edges. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.

Weight: 7 lbs. 15 oz.

Case: This guitar ships with a hardshell case, professionally packaged, and fully insured.
