This 2021 Paul Reed Smith S2 McCarty 594 Singlecut features a bound 22-fret Pattern Vintage neck and slightly thicker back for more sustain. The S2 McCarty 594 feels and sounds like a guitar you’ve been playing forever and plays in tune, stays in tune, and is intonated the entire length of the neck. A zinc two-piece bridge and vintage-style tuners anchor this guitar, continuing with vintage appointments with the precision of PRS’s modern manufacturing techniques and trusted craftsmanship. 

Body:  Mahogany with Maple top in Black Amber finish. 

Neck:  Mahogany with a bound Rosewood fingerboard, 24.59” scale length,  1.68” nut width, 22 frets, birds inlays.

 Pickups/Hardware:  DiMarzio 59 humbucker pickups, PRS vintage style tuning keys, PRS two piece bridge, clear plastic knobs, plastic nut.

 Modifications: DiMarzio 59 humbucker pickups installed, originals included. 50s wiring for pickups.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in good shape. It has light surface scratches on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
