2023 Fender Mustang Player Bass

This 2023 Fender Mustang Player Bass is an updated version of the short-scale underground hero that adds the power of our venerable P Bass and J Bass pickups to the traditional Mustang design for flexible, thunderous bass tone with smooth playing feel and slick visual style.

Body:  Alder in Sienna Sunburst finish.

Neck:  Maple with a Maple fingerboard, 30” scale length, 1.5” nut width, 19 frets, white dot inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Middle: Vintage-Style Split Single-Coil Precision Bass Bridge: Vintage-Style Single-Coil Jazz Bass pickup, Fender vintage style tuning keys, 4 saddle  standard bridge, black plastic knobs, synthetic bone nut.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear, while the back of the headstock has had a hole drilled in it for a hootenanny button. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
