This 1968 Guild CE-100D features an all-maple body arched top, sides and back with a comfortable 3 1/8″ depth and sharp-looking Florentine cutaway, with dual f holes and elegant ivory white body binding and black/white purfling. It’s seen some real action, but has 8 more lives. It’s a great sounding and playing instrument.

 

Body:  Maple top, back and sides in Antique Sunburst finish.


Neck: Mahogany/Maple/Mahogany with a Brazilian Rosewood Fingerboard, 24.75” scale length,  1.69” nut width, 20 frets, pearl block inlays.

 

Pickups/Hardware: Guild LB-1 pickups, replaced tuning keys, replaced roller bridge, black top hat knobs, bone nut.

 

Cosmetics: This guitar is in good shape. It has plentiful surface scratches, dents, dings, and gouges on the body. The back of the neck is checked with honest wear, the headstock faceplate is separating, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has honest buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.


Modifications: replaced tuning keys / replaced aftermarket roller bridge / headstock faceplate is separating / no pickguard


Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
