1985 Fender Performer MIJ
This 1985 Fender Performer is a lovely take on the SuperStrat of yesteryear. Burgundy Mist Metallic is a rare color, and the slanted humbucking pickups are wonderful and powerful. This Made in Japan model will set you apart stunningly in every way.
Body: Alder in Burgundy Mist Metallic finish.
Neck: Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.65 ” nut width, 24 frets, pearl dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Dual Fender humbucking pickups, Fender cast/sealed tuning keys, Fender System 1 bridge, locking string tree, Micro-Tilt neck angle adjustment, white speed knobs, master volume and TBX controls (stacked 250k and 1M pots with a center detent), a coil splitting switch, bone nut. Replacement whammy bar included.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches on the body and some honest wear, dents and scraps around the edges.. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
