Summary: The ES-137 was produced by Gibson starting in the early 2000’s and it's based on the same design as the classic ES-135 with the addition of a mahogany center block to reduce feedback and enhance sustain. The arched top, arched back, & sides are laminated maple. This ES-137 Premier has small pearl block inlays, a “P” inlay on the 12th fret, two great sounding P90 pickups with cream covers.

Body: Laminated Maple with a satin gold finish.

Neck: Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width, 22 frets, small pearl block inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Two P90 pickups, Gibson Deluxe keystone tuning keys, cream plastics/black switch tip, 2x volume/2x tone controls/3-way pickup selector, tunomatic bridge/stop bar tailpiece.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches and some deeper scuffs near the top strap button. There is regular finish wear randomly throughout on the body, neck, and heel (See Photos Please). Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.

Weight: 7.9 lbs.

Case: This guitar ships in a brown Gibson hard-shell case, professionally packaged, and fully insured.
