2009 Sadowsky Archtop Semi Hollow

This 2009 Sadowsky Archtop Semi Hollow is constructed of highly flamed 5-ply arched Maple, specifically crafted to optimize amplified tone while suppressing feedback. The thinline version of the popular Jimmy Bruno model, the Semi-Hollow is a delight to hold, and a breeze to tote to the gig. The gentle D neck profile is particularly inviting, and the smooth fretwork on the solid Amazon Rosewood fingerboard board all make for an exceptionally nimble playing experience. Advanced design features include the extended cutaway body for enhanced fret access, and the chambered body, much lighter than conventional slimline guitars.

Body: 15" body width at lower bout, 5-ply flamed maple laminate with chambered spruce center block, 1 3/4" body depth, with scraped binding in Sienna Burst finish.

Neck: Mahogany with a Ebony fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1.68” nut width, 22 frets, pearl dot inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Sadowsky PAF-style humbucker pickups, Ebony pickguard, Gotoh tuning keys, tune-o-matic bridge and stop tailpiece, black knobs, bone nut.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in very good shape. It has light surface scratches on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear.This guitar was refretted by the Sadowsky NYC Custom Shop. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
