Eastwood Doral

Summary: This Eastwood Doral was based on the desire for two Gibson L5’s, the mid sixties humbucking model Wes Montgomery played, and the 50’s era L5 CES Scotty Moore played with Elvis. This guitar delivers both sounds. It’s a full size archtop guitar, featuring a laminated spruce top with curly maple sides and back,and a three piece rock maple neck,  with the versatility of the coil tapped humbucking pickups that afford you the opportunity to switch between vintage voiced humbuckers and P90 voiced singled coil pickups. 

Body:  Spruce Top, Flame Maple Back and Sides in Orange finish.

Neck: Three Piece Rock Maple with a bound Rosewood fingerboard,  25.5” scale length,  1.68” nut width, 20 frets, pearl triangle inlays.

Pickups/Hardware:  Dual Coil-Tapped Eastwood Custom Humbucker pickups, Grover Imperial tuning keys,  floating Tune-O-matic bridge, nylon saddles, trapeze bridge, black witch hat knobs, bone nut.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
