This 2018 Paul Reed Smith Custom SE brings the original PRS design platform to the high-quality, more affordable SE line up of instruments. Played by internationally touring artists, gigging musicians, and aspiring players, the SE Custom 24 features a maple top, mahogany back, wide thin maple neck, rosewood fretboard with bird inlays, and a PRS-designed tremolo bridge. Its versatile sounds come from the 85/15 S pickups paired with a volume, push/pull tone control, and 3-way blade pickup selector. The SE Custom 24 is a modern classic with roadworthy durability, addictive playability, and wide array of tones, making it a perfect workhorse guitar.
Body: Mahogany with Maple Top with Zebrawood Veneer in Sunburst finish.
Neck: Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.68” nut width, 24 frets, birds inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: PRS 85/15 S humbucker pickups, PRS designed tuning keys, PRS patented bridge, amber speed knobs, plastic nut.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in good shape. It has light surface scratches on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
