Steinberger Spirit GU-7

This Steinberger Spirit GU-7 is a high-performance guitar with the same double-cutaway body shape as the Steinberger GM Series. Like all Steinbergers, it features the revolutionary headless neck with the patented Double-Ball  tuning system, patented LOCKING R-Trem  system, 40:1 ratio machine heads and three EMG pickups.  

Body:  Maple with flamed Maple top in Sunburst finish.

Neck:  Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.62” nut width, 24 frets, dot inlays.

Pickups/Hardware:  EMG pickups, patented R-Trem roller tremolo with direct-pull 40:1 fine tuners tuning system, patented,  Steinberger double-ball system, knobs.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches on the body. The back of the neck is pretty clean, with a few light dings that doesn’t affect playability and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Modifications: EMG pickups 

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
