2019 Fender American Elite Telecaster Mystic Black
Summary: The Fender American Elite Telecaster meets and exceeds the challenge of improving upon one of the most legendary instruments ever produced with an array of appointments and features tailor-made for the modern guitarist. Starting off with a pair of new fourth generation noiseless single coil Telecaster pickups, this innovative model ups the ante with an S-1 switching system, compound profile neck, and lockable short-post tuning machines for the ultimate playing experience.
Body: Solid single cutaway ash, gloss polyurethane with a beautiful “Mystic Black” finish with a bit of a sparkle.
Neck: Maple, modern “C” to “D” profile, 9.5” radius, 25.5” scale length, 1.685” nut width, black pearloid dot inlays, synthetic bone nut, 22 medium jumbo frets.
Pickups/Hardware: Two fourth generation noiseless single coil telecaster pickups, one volume knob (with the S1 switch for switching between series and parallel pickup wiring), one tone knob, three way pickup selector, deluxe locking cast/sealed tuning keys, six saddle American Telecaster bridge with chrome brass saddles.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition. There is light pick wear on the pickguard. There is one tiny ding on the back of the body.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
