1956 Guild M-65 Freshman Sunburst

Body: Maple top with Mahogany back and sides in original Sunburst finish.

Neck: Mahogany neck with a bound Rosewood fingerboard,” radius, 24.75” scale length, 1 10/16” nut width, 22 frets, pearl-dot inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: This guitar has all of its original components including the original P-90 pickup, original tuning keys, Rosewood bridge, single volume and tone controls, bone nut.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in good condition. It has light finish checking on the top and the back has some buckle rash on the back of the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show light wear in the “cowboy chord” area. There is some slight lift to the binding where the neck joins the body. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been set-up low and comfortable.
