Summary: Starting in 1954, Gibson offered players a simple, affordable take on the Les Paul dubbed the Les Paul Junior. This bare-bones solid body featured one dog-eared P-90 pickup, a stud-mounted bridge, an unbound Rosewood fingerboard, and slab Mahogany body.

Body: Mahogany with a Sunburst finish.

Neck: Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width, pearl dot inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: One P90 pickup, wraparound tailpiece, master volume/master tone controls, Kluson Deluxe tuning keys.

Cosmetics: This guitar has wear that is consistent with an instrument from the ‘50s. It has various nicks, dings and scratches throughout (See Photos Please). The back of the neck has dings and scuffs. The tuning keys have tarnished, and the buttons have turned yellow and brown in places. The G string tuning key has been bent towards the B string tuning key a little but still works properly. The frets have noticeable wear and low and flat up to about the 12th fret. The bridge posts are leaning forward slightly. Overall, this guitar is good vintage condition, and it plays and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable, and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.

Weight: 7.59 lbs.

Case: This guitar ships in an aftermarket hard-shell case, professionally packaged, and fully insured.
