2024 Martin Custom Shop 0-14

This Custom Shop Martin 0-14 is a simple, yet elegant take on a classic Martin design. This is the perfect instrument for fingerpickers and songwriters alike – with 14-frets to the body, this instrument feels snappy and responsive. It even handles bluegrass flatpicking quite well. The small body and Spruce over Mahogany construction give this instrument a wonderful voice, very responsive to dynamics and touch.

Body: Custom “0” concert body, Sitka Spruce top, Quilted Mahogany back and sides, 18-style purfling, scalloped bracing, x-braced top, gloss finish on body.

Neck: Mahogany neck, modified low oval profile, ebony fingerboard, 16” radius, 1 ¾” width at nut, 2 ⅛” width at 12th fret, bone nut, white side dots, 14 frets to the body, dovetail neck joint, satin finish on neck.

Hardware: Grover Nickel V97-18NA StaTite 18:1 tuning machines with vintage buttons.

Cosmetics: Guitar is in excellent condition with very light playwear near the picking area. The frets are in great shape, they appear to be almost unplayed. There are no dings, dents or major scratches to speak of.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been set up low and comfortable.
