1985 Squier Stratocaster MIJ
Summary: This 1985 Squier Stratocaster MIJ is an exceptionally fine MIJ instrument. Fender Japan is known for its quality and the Squiers that were made in the early 1980s are sought after for their fit and finish, as well as excellent tone and playability. This one is a star.
Body: Basswood in Arctic White finish.
Neck: Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 25.5 ” scale length, 1.625 ” nut width, 21 frets, pearl dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Fender single coil pickups, standard hexagonal sealed tuning keys, vintage synchronized tremolo bridge, white plastic knobs, bone nut.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches and a few light dents on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
