2002 Fender American Standard Stratocaster

Summary: This 2002 Fender American Standard Stratocaster was the flagship U.S. made guitar, with a modern "C" shaped neck with 22 medium jumbo frets, Fender-branded Schaller tuning machines with staggered post heights for better string tension, a 2-point synchronized tremolo with stainless steel saddles, and three American Series single-coil pickups.

Body: Alder in Black finish.

Neck: Maple with a Maple fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.68” nut width, 22 frets, black dot inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: American Single-Coil Strat pickups (Master Volume, Tone 1. (Neck Pickup), Tone 2. No-Load Tone Control (Middle and Bridge Pickups), Fender/Schaller Deluxe Staggered Cast/Sealed tuners, 2-Point American Series Synchronized Tremolo with Stainless Steel Saddles, parchment plastic knobs, bone nut.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches and small indentations on the body, along with a dent on the front and larger chip on the bottom edge.  The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
