2007 Gibson Flying V Faded
Summary: This 2007 Gibson Flying V Faded is a great, straight ahead guitar. It pairs Mahogany for the body and neck, with Rosewood for the fingerboard and that’s it for woods. To simplify the guitar, an ABR type tune-o-matic bridge and stop tailpiece set are installed in place of the original string-through design. Wiring is pretty standard, with a pair of uncovered humbucking pickups controlled by a pickup selector, individual volume controls, and a master tone.
Body: Mahogany in a Worn Cherry finish.
Neck: Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1.68” nut width, 22 frets, pearl dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Dual Gibson Humbucker pickups, Gibson Deluxe tuning keys, Tune-O-Matic bridge and chrome stopbar tailpiece, black top hat knobs, bone nut.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches on the body, along with some surface wear on the left front wing. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
