2014 Gibson Firebird 120th Anniversary
Summary: This 2014 Gibson Firebird 120th Anniversary was conceived when Gibson hired famed automotive designer Ray Dietrich to create a radical new solid body guitar, & Rock 'n Roll history ensued. With its offset shape, neck-through construction and scorching mini-humbuckers, it became an instant classic.
Body: Mahogany in Vintage Sunburst finish.
Neck: Mahogany with a fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1.68” nut width, 22 frets, mother of pearl trapezoid inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Gibson Mini Humbucker pickups, Steinberger tuning keys, Stopbar tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge, black witch hat knobs, bone nut.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has the lightest wear a used guitar can have on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
