2015 Collings 290 TV Yellow
Summary: Each Collings 290 is constructed of solid Honduran mahogany hand selected by master luthiers. The Lollar P90’s are extremely versatile pickups with tons of vintage style warmth. This Collings 290 is in excellent condition and ships in the original hard-shell case.
Body: Solid Honduran mahogany with a nitro TV Yellow finish.
Neck: Honduran Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, 24 7/8” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width, 12” radius, 22 frets, pearl dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Two Lollar P90 pickups, wraparound tailpiece, black single ply pickguard, 2x volume/2x tone controls/3-way pickup selector, Gotoh ivoroid tuning keys with Collings logo,
Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition. It has light surface scratches and regular wear on the pickguard. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets are in great shape.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
