2009 Fender Classic Series '72 Thinline Telecaster
Summary: This 2009 Fende rClassic Series ‘72 Thinline Telecaster took the Tele into new zones, giving it dual humbuckers for a meatier sound, and a new pickguard design for a unique look. This reissue is authentic in every detail: semi-hollow ash body, 7.25" radius fingerboard, die-cast machine heads, nickel silver frets and a 6-saddle string-thru-body bridge, along with a single f-hole accent, & humbucking pickups.
Body:Ash in Natural finish.
Neck: Maple with a Maple fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.65” nut width, 21 frets, black dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Twin Wide Range humbucking pickups, vintage style tuning keys, 6-saddle vintage-style bridge.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent shape. It has light pick wear, only visible in reflections, on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
