FGN Fujigen J-Standard
Summary: FGN, Fujigen, is a Japanese musical instrument manufacturing company based in Matsumoto, Nagano in Japan. The company is named after Japan's iconic Mount Fuji. This FGN J-Standard “S” style guitar sounds amazing. It has a beautiful Candy Apple Red finish and a rosewood fingerboard. The three single coil pickups are clear and articulate. It comes equipped with a vintage style tremolo system and tuning stability is provided by the Gotoh tuning keys.
Body: Solid body, double cutaway, “S” style, gloss Candy Apple Red finish.
Neck: Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.645” nut width, 22 frets, white dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Three FGN single-coil pickups, Gotoh tuning keys, vintage style tremolo system, master volume/2x tone controls, 3-ply white pickguard, bone nut.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition and shows very little signs of use. The pickguard has light wear and the frets show minimal wear.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
Modifications: The volume know has been changed to a white colored knob, other plastics are cream colored.
