Tacoma Papoose SP1
Summary: This Tacoma Papoose SP1 is crafted out of solid mahogany, and equipped with one Seymour Duncan designed humbucking pickup, bolt-on mahogany neck with a Rosewood fretboard, & an onboard EMG designed preamp engaged by a push-pull volume control and adjusted by a gain control. This “Tone Phone” overdrive circuit is powered by a 9V battery, also found in the control cavity, allowing a headphone to be plugged into an ⅛” output adjacent to the usual ¼” output, Tuned A-A, capo at the 5th fret for standard fun.
Body: Mahogany in a satin finish.
Neck: Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, 19” scale length 1 7/8” nut width, 21 frets, pearl dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Seymour Duncan designed humbucker pickup, Tacoma tuning keys, 6 saddle bridge, bone nut.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light ding on an edge and small indentations on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has a small crack, which seems original to the construction, and is stable (pictured). Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
