1968 Rickenbacker 336/12 Mapleglo
Body: Maple body with Mapleglo finish
Neck: Maple neck with Rosewood fingerboard, 10” radius, 24.75” scale length, 1.62” nut width, 21 frets, dot-inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Original “toaster” pickups, vintage Kluson tuning keys, original bridge and tail-piece, volume and tone controls for each pickup, 3-way switch, 5th knob (pre volume knob for neck pickup), bakelite nut.
Modifications: The original comb has been removed and is in the case.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in good condition for its age. It has light finish checking on the top and back of the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the original frets show a decent amount of wear. The back of the guitar has a good amount of buckle rash (pictured) Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been set-up low and comfortable.
