1978 Ibanez Artist 2630
This 1978 Ibanez Artist 2630 features a full-sized, thinline, semi-hollow, double cutaway body design. It has an arched curly maple top with ƒ holes and ivory multi-binding and a curly Maple back on Maple sides with a hard rock Maple center block mated to a set-in rock Maple neck with a 22-fret Ebony fingerboard with ivory binding and pearl and abalone split block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 80 humbucking pickups, a Tune-o-matic style Gibraltar bridge with heavy brass tone block set into the body, a Gibraltar tailpiece with a scalloped ornament, a half bone/ half brass nut, Sure Grip knobs, and VelveTune tuning machines with ivory buttons.
Body: Curly Maple top and back, Maple sides in Antique Violin finish.
Neck: Maple with a bound Ebony fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1.68” nut width, 22 frets, pearl/abalone split block inlays.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in good shape. It has light surface scratches on the body, dents and scrapes, and the headstock has some wear around the edges. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
