Summary: This 1982 Gibson ES-335 TD, the Electric Spanish guitar, aThinline, Double Pickup model, is an archtop guitar equipped with two hollow chambers separated by a solid maple wood block running down its center, and twin humbuckers. The maple block provides the ES-335 with a hybrid solid/hollow body perfect for all musicians.

 

Body: Maple in Vintage Sunburst finish.

Neck: Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75” scale length 1.68” nut width, 22 frets, pearl block inlays.

 

Pickups/Hardware: Humbucking pickups,  coil split switch, Gibson tuning keys, tune-o-matic bridge, trapeze tailpiece, black tophat knobs, bone nut.

 

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has very light surface scratches and small indentations on the body, visible only in refection. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has very light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

 

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
